Our medical weight loss program is designed for those who prefer a non-surgical option and for those who need to lose weight prior to surgery. Our program is designed to assist participants in losing excess weight quickly and safely.

The program is designed to help you achieve your goal weight by learning how to make healthy lifestyle changes. Our goal is for you to have a life that includes healthy eating and exercise. As a bonus, you will likely reduce your risk of medical conditions associated with obesity, such as cardiovascular disease, Type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes, hypertension and elevated cholesterol.

If your body mass index (BMI) is 25 or higher, you may opt for our proven Medical Weight Loss Program. A BMI of 25 or greater is considered overweight.

Our Medical Weight Loss Program is designed to help you lose weight quickly and safely. It includes:

  • Comprehensive initial evaluation: This evaluation will help us determine your individual diet and exercise goals.
  • Medical testing: This includes an electrocardiogram (EKG), blood work, blood pressure screening, total body composition analysis and a physical assessment.
  • Diet education: This helps us tailor the program to your specific challenges.
  • Diet: Your choice of low carbohydrate or Mediterranean diet.
  • Weekly visits: Our weight loss nurses, nurse practitioners or dietitian will keep you accountable and support your weight loss efforts.
  • Medication: B12 injection and appetite suppressant medications as appropriate.
  • Maintenance: By following our program guidelines, you will be able to maintain your new weight using the tools you’ve acquired. Incorporating healthy eating with regular exercise will help you reach and maintain your desired weight.
  • Weight loss counseling services: Available upon request at an additional cost.

The first month's fee is $200, which includes an initial evaluation and weekly visits. This initial evaluation includes:

  • A physical assessment
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Health behavior assessment
  • Diet education
  • Total body composition analysis
  • EKG
  • Blood work
  • Urine ketone checks, if applicable
  • Weekly B12 injection
  • Weight check
  • Appetite suppressant medication, if appropriate
  • Weight loss counseling services are available upon request at an additional cost

No refunds or credits are given for missed weekly appointments.

After the first month, each month of the program is $100. These weekly visits include:

  • Urine ketone checks, if applicable
  • Weekly B12 injection
  • Weight check
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Appetite suppressant medication, if appropriate
  • Weight loss counseling services are available upon request at an additional cost

Does Insurance Cover this Program?

Insurance carriers vary in their policies regarding claim payment for weight management programs. In general, most insurance companies do not reimburse for commercial weight loss services, supplies and maintenance fees. However, portions of treatment that are considered medically necessary to alleviate a diagnosed medical condition due to body weight may be reimbursable by your insurance carrier. We do not guarantee insurance reimbursement, nor do we file insurance claims. However, we offer Care Credit applications for financing our programs.
