Our Program
Program Overview
Our program has received initial accreditation with the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). We currently have two main training sites: Spartanburg Community Dental Center in Spartanburg, S.C., and the second in Bessemer, Ala., located at the Foundry Dental Center (FDC). The affiliation with the FDC is new; however, the community dental clinic in Bessemer has been providing dental services and clinical training since 2009.
Dental care provided at both locations includes all aspects of general dentistry, such as dental implants, full arch restorations, sinus grafting, sedation dentistry, prosthodontics and crowns. Our clinic sites are “safety net” facilities offering low-cost dental services to underserved communities that cannot afford traditional dental services and individuals enrolled in addiction recovery programs.
