About
Biography
Dr. Kilburn received his medical degree at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC. He completed his residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. Dr. Kilburn is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), American Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) and the American Medical Association (AMA). At the 55th ASTRO Annual Meeting, Dr. Kilburn received the Oral Presentation Lung Section honor in 2013. Dr. Kilburn has published work on the use of stereotactic body radiotherapy in treatment of thoracic malignancies and has special interests in radiosurgery. Dr. Kilburn's personal interests are travel, golf and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
