What to Expect as a CPE Student

The Department of Spiritual Care at Spartanburg Regional offers an all-encompassing educational environment. CPE participants work alongside experienced chaplains of a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds. Spartanburg Medical Center has two campuses in Spartanburg – Church Street Campus and Mary Black Campus. The Church Street Campus includes a Level I Trauma Center.

The Department of Spiritual Care and Education has a proud history of over 50 years. Chaplains are well respected and integrated into the medical services. Chaplains at Spartanburg Regional may touch the lives of more than 75,000 patients who are discharged annually.
