Inpatient Rehabilitation



The Center for Rehabilitative Medicine, located at Spartanburg Medical Center - Mary Black Campus, is an 18-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. We are a Commissions on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accredited facility providing quality care to patients in the Upstate since 1991. We are one of five accredited inpatient rehabilitation facilities in South Carolina.

Mission and Team

The mission of the Center of Rehabilitative Medicine is to provide competent and effective rehabilitation services to individuals faced with the challenge of a disabling condition, so they may return to their homes and community to live as happily, productively and independently as possible. Our team approach toward patient care sees the patient as the most important member of the rehabilitation team. The patient and his or her family’s participation is an important element in the recovery process.
