About

School-based telehealth empowers local schools to deliver a range of healthcare services to its students. In partnership with the South Carolina Telehealth Alliance, Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System offers school-based telehealth in Spartanburg. The service improves access to medical services for students, without requiring students to travel to outside facilities. School-based telehealth allows students to be treated for a variety of injuries and illnesses, including:

  • Cold and flu
  • Fever
  • Strep throat
  • Asthma
  • Lice
  • Pinkeye
  • Rashes
  • Earaches
  • Sprains and strains

All students at partner schools are eligible for the school-based telehealth services. Our current partner schools are:

  • Cleveland Academy
  • Carver Middle School
  • Mary H. Wright Elementary School

School-based telehealth increases classroom time for students, reduces absenteeism and provides access to care for students who otherwise would not receive it.
